What a nice weekend. We did a lot of running around, snuck in a date night, picked up Parker in Tarboro (where she had been on vacation in Nags Head with her Gee gee and Poppy and even had tea with "the Queen," from the Lost Colony). Kennedy got some one on one time with Nana, including a trip to Pullen Park. We played at the lake. Our cousin, Cam, came to the lake in the morning with Uncle Dug and Aunt Laura. The girls had lots of fun together and wore each other out. All three girls took great naps that afternoon, all in prep for group #2.
We had a great time with our friends Saturday afternoon as well. We enjoyed swimming, jet skiing, a couple of rain showers, a beaufort boil and a bag of sandy doritos (thanks, Kennedy). Gosh, life is good. We ended the night with some yummy desserts, fireworks and sparklers. Great 4th of July. Looking forward to next years. Enjoy the pictures!
