Another week down...many more to go. (;

Another week has passed and we are getting closer and closer to the finish date. This week the pergola was built by the grill, the sheet rock was hung, the stone masons worked on some columns, and of course there was a lot of swimming.

Parker has become quite the swimmer. She even jumps off the spa into the pool and is wearing only one float when she swims (she used to swim with three). We call it her bubbler but it is a belt with layers of foam attached to it. It helps her float and the foam sits on her back.

Kennedy will bob in between Frank and I as we push her back and forth. She loves it. Kennedy wants to swim like Parker so badly and really hasn't learned her limitations.

I had my photography class field trip Saturday to Pullen Park. I have attached a few pictures. We were to take pictures around the park. Not really my cup of tea but good experience. Of course when I left for home I got a flat tire. The first time in my life. I tried to be Miss Independent and do it myself but had difficulty with the jack. So I had to call the Exxon on Glenwood (I was on Oberlin). Then my knight in shining armor came to rescue me, for a small fee of $25 my spare tire was on and I was off. Thank goodness the girls weren't with me. I couldn't imagine with the heat AND the girls. Whew.

Anyways, we are getting there on the house. Our family room is getting back together and we have been thoroughly enjoying our pool. Here are a few pictures of what we were up to this week. Enjoy.
