My goodness what a week. The stone guys came in and finished the fireplace. The granite guys are here now (the outdoor kitchen granite goes in Monday). The interior is almost complete. We still have to connect the appliances (and run a bit more electric), rebuild the bench, touch up sheet rock and install the lights, plus little touch up paint. Boy am I seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Things are coming together. We will have our family room back in no time.
Now the outdoors, the pool is full We have been swimming almost every night. Parker has been skeptical but Kennedy is jumping in, blowing bubbles, and really enjoying. Parker has been wanting to play in the hot tub, because she can touch. I understand and we are taking baby steps. She will be jumping off the edge in her own time. Parker has always been the one to do things when they were her idea. There are still a bit left on the garage, we will have the drywall delivered tomorrow and hopefully installed during the week. Then we need to pour the driveway, finish the landscaping and build the pergola for over the outdoor kitchen. Frank and I feel so much better. It was tough for a few days.
