Welcome to my blog

Okay, I have been suckered into the world of blogs. Look out! Primarily because of ALL the construction going on daily at our house. Many friends have asked to keep them posted. After mass email, after mass email. I decided those who were interested could just check the blog and see what the Bowman girls (and guy) are up to.

Having been through the construction process before. I thought I would be an old pro but adding children to the mix adds a whole new variable. We have "picnics" downstairs everyday. I attached a couple pictures of the girls having their breakfast and a couple of Kennedy trying watermelon. Surprise! She liked it and even used two hands to make sure she didn't miss a drop. (:

We also play upstairs A LOT, due to the heat (although our thermostat reads 83 it is better than the 99 degrees outside). Needless to say we are ready for our pool to be complete. It won't be long now. The plaster is scheduled for Thursday, which means we start filling it Friday afternoon and hopefully will be swimming for father's day. Fingers crossed.

The kitchen is coming together. I chose the granite today and it will hopefully be installed in about a week. The stone fireplace still needs to be replaced and then we can reclaim some rooms. Oh, I can't wait. Frank and I were talking about how we missed our family room last night.

Then through it all I am taking a night photography class through Wake Tech at good old, Millbrook. It actually has been a nice getaway from the somewhat "organized chaos" going on at home. Plus I am learning a bit more about photography, although I am having a hard time letting go of the "automatic mode." I will get there though. Practice, Practice, Practice.

Well, thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope to be able to update often, with funny girl stories. Gosh there are plenty and updates on our home. Which, my girls new favorite thing is playing chase. I do love hearing them laugh and squeal together as they play together. What wonderful moments.
