Happy Father's Day!

Well, Frank got a great Father's Day present today....his pool plastered. It looks great. Tomorrow another crew comes to acid wash and buff the finish and then we will start filling. When they applied the plaster today, Frank said to me, "well you definitely picked this color." I would say it looked about like the color of my old Xterra. I just laughed, knowing that once they wiped the film off the top and fill it with water it takes on a much darker color. Gosh, not to toot my own horn, but it is going to look great. We at first had picked a black laster finish but out of fear of the water heating up too quickly, we went with ....navy blue. We have gotten a good chuckle over it. We may have helped the pool be about two degrees cooler.

As for the girls, Parker is so excited about her pool being finished. She has invited MANY friends over for play dates at her pool. I am glad though because I am looking forward to spending lots of time out there myself. Kennedy will be great in the water. She is blowing bubbles and loves her time in the water. Today she kept reaching out to the plasterers bucket of water, wanting to put her hands in it. What can I say they come by it naturally. Both girls are/were water babies. I have attached a few pictures of the pool being plastered. I will update again when the pool is full and you can see the different darker color. I hope everyone had wonderful Father's Days with your families.
